Prompts is a series of graphic scores that are designed to promote creative improvisation with minimal instructions or guidelines.
This fourth work in the series is a set of two images and poems. It is for any duration for one or two vocalists of any singing range or type. The images and texts are prompts for improvisation.
The work may be performed as two separate movements or as a single movement in two sections For two player interpretations, the pages may also performed individually (separately with one player to an image) or simultaneously with one player to an image. They may be performed continuously (attacca), with a pause between each movement, or they may be separated across a program.
