Premiered on March 10th, 2015 by Logan Place, Victor Drescher, and Henry Jones at Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond, LA

As the title implies, this work takes the form of a chaconne with a repeating cycle of chords, generally in a progressive descent, that begins to morph and distort in various ways while still retaining the same basic contour. The work is a meditation of sorts on the idea of “disrupted continuity.”
